Donations to Fight Prostate Cancer

Venmo is our preferred means of accepting donations.

Andy and Chris Mull have an ambitious goal to raise awareness about prostate cancer:  $25,000 for 2022. Yes, twenty-five thousand dollars. And they only have from now through the end of their bike ride in April to raise it. Net proceeds will go to Simon Says Run for Prostate Cancer which is a 501(c)3 organization that educates men on prostate cancer and helps those who are fighting prostate cancer.

Every dollar helps. Use the donate button on this screen to make your contribution using Venmo

Contributions may also be made by checks. Checks should be made out to 'Simon Says' and mailed to:

Day One Destination Decided

Andy, Chris and Ken have announced where they plan to camp on the night of August 1st - Historic Blakely State Park in Spanish Fort, AL.

Nestled within the scenic Mobile-Tensaw Delta, Historic Blakeley State Park is one of the largest and most diverse attractions within the Gulf Coast region. Within it's more than 2,000 acres of some of the most biodiverse habitat in North America, the park contains the sites of Alabama's largest Civil War battle, the important early Alabama town of Blakeley, and Native American settlements dating back thousands of years.

We hope it is a quiet biodiverse habitat as Andy and Chris have to start Day Two early.

BASE CAMP FAT ALBERT JUNIOR

Name correction noted below:

How are Andy, Chris and Ken going to sleep as they bike from the Gulf of Mexico to Lake Erie? Over the course of twenty-five (25) days, Ken will be following Andy and Chris' bike route in his SUV pulling this neat little Winnebago, appropriately named 'Minnie'. Although compact, it has enough room for the three of these guys plus supplies and gear. These guys are going to be sleeping like kings!

Ken Krempin Heads Up Support and Gear for Andy and Chris in August

Ken Krempin, Support and Gear

Starting out on August 1st, Andy and Chris Mull will be cycling from the Purple Parrot Tiki Bar to the Flora-Bama and continue to their goal point in Cleveland, Ohio on the shores of Lake Erie -  over 1,500 miles. If all goes well, they plan to be at Lake Erie by August 25th. That's right - over 1,500 miles in 25 days. Andy and Chris would never be able to do this by themselves. Luckily, they have an amazing guy going with them in a support vehicle.

Everyone, meet Ken Krempin

Ken has been friends with these guys for years now and will be following them along their route, assisting with any emergencies, setting up base camp at the end of each day and breaking down base camp each morning. Having recovered from prostate cancer himself, Ken brings inspiration and dedication like none other. Ken, thanks for helping these guys get to Lake Erie and back!

Ken has led a pretty impressive life. He gave us this quick recap:
