8/01/2023 Day 7

Day 7:

Day 7✅🚴🏻‍♂️🚴🏻‍♂️💙🛻💨
Another day of triumph for our team! Andy and Ken N. pushed through a challenging 56.6-mile ride, making their way from Hinesville, GA to Hardeeville, SC. ☀️🚴🏻‍♂️🚴🏻‍♂️💪🏼🫶
As they crossed into South Carolina, their journey draws closer to the finish line in Charleston. Let's continue to show our support and encouragement as they pedal on, making a difference for prostate cancer research.
Chris and Ken play a crucial role as SAG (Support and Gear). As SAG, their support is invaluable in ensuring the safety and well-being of the entire team. Their combined efforts help the riders focus on the road ahead and the mission of raising awareness for prostate cancer. With Chris and Ken K’s support, Andy and Ken N. can ride with confidence, knowing they have a strong support system by their side. Their selflessness as SAG enables the team to continue their inspiring journey with safety, unity, and determination. Let's applaud Chris and Ken for their vital role in this remarkable endeavor! 👏🏼🎗️👏🏼🎗️👏🏼🎗️
Stay tuned for more updates as they inspire us with every mile on this extraordinary journey! 🚴‍♂️🌟
👨🏼‍⚕️🧑🏻‍⚕️Here's another fact about prostate cancer: Age is one of the most significant risk factors for prostate cancer. The likelihood of developing prostate cancer increases significantly as men get older. It is rare for men under 40 to develop prostate cancer, but the risk rises rapidly after the age of 50. About 6 in 10 cases of prostate cancer are diagnosed in men aged 65 and older. Regular prostate cancer screenings and discussions with healthcare providers are essential, especially for men over the age of 50, to monitor their health and detect any potential issues early. 🎗️💪
